The Story of BEL NORMANDE:
 |
Annexed by Roman legions and Viking adventurers, disputed for centuries by English and French kings, beach-head for D-Day armies, Normandy is a melting-pot of peoples and languages, a cross-roads where cultures and ideas, artifacts and produce, have met and mingled, giving it a rich heritage of traditions, monuments and history. Most of Normandy consists of rolling countryside planted with pasture and apple tree orchards. Indeed, Normandy is France’s larger Cider producing region.
BEL NORMANDE is made in France, from the finest fruits and following the French cider tradition that dates back to the 9th century: Every October and November, apples are brought from neighboring orchards to the cider mill. Sweet and sour apples are mixed together, then transferred into silos and processed in a State of the Art bottling facility. They are first washed, crushed and pressed into a fresh juice which is then filtered and stored into refrigerated tanks until it is bottled. A mild flash pasteurization will extend the shelf life of the product and protect its freshness for a minimum of 24 months. BEL NORMANDE is a fresh, non-alcoholic and natural sparkling juice: the sociable, celebratory taste whose French origin adds a touch of sophistication.
